Services
The purpose of the Supported Employment program is to provide persons with developmental disabilities with a fair and equal opportunity to find meaningful and rewarding employment. Any individual that can provide medical documentation stating that they have a developmental disability is eligible for our general services. We provide to our clients:
- Assessment of abilities and strengths
- Exploration of personal interests
- Career exploration
- Assistance with resume writing
- Job search and development
- Employment placement
- Job Coach support
- Regular monitoring
- Long term follow up
Who is eligable for these services:
Individuals with developmental disabilities who fit the criteria, but have not graduated from high school would be eligible under the Transition Program. This is a program which we work together with the school, teachers, and parents/caregivers to prepare a plan to have the student "employment ready" when they graduate.
